About Garrison's Cyclery of Centreville Delaware
Rob Garrison started out as a part time employee with an area bicycle retailer, managed other locations, and climbed the proverbial ladder to become service manager. He has learned mostly everything from a hands on approach paired up with Shimano, Sram, Dt Swiss, Wheel Smith, and a slew of other manufacturers' classroom sessions. The list of names from which he developed his skills and knowledge is vast and ever growing. He built his reputation around doing what he said he would do, and getting it right the first time. He takes great pride in the knowledge base he possesses, and the way his customers are treated.

Rick Nersasian also ran a medium sized bike shop boutique in the North Wilmington area for the better part of 15 years where he left a lasting impression on his clientele. He then took a position with the Rock Shox Corporation in 2001, which led him to Colorado for the better part of 6 years. He rode the Sram/Avid/Rock Shox merger out and eventually found his way back to Wilmington, Delaware. He tries to commute daily from his residence 8-10 miles away rain or shine. Rick is way too fast on a mountain bike and really puts the hammer down to humble fellow riders. It's fun to watch a 20yo get schooled by a 50+ yo!
Having three knowledgeable, detail oriented mechanics under one roof virtually eliminates the misdiagnosis of customer bikes. "Time in the pits" is both Rick, Rob and Chris's badge of honor. Being able to improvise, modify, call the manufacturer with a design concern, knowing the compatibility, and "having the eye and the ear" is key. Bike technology has advanced so much in the past 10 years. The standpoint of "it’s either right or wrong" mechanically speaking hasn't changed, but manufacturer compatibility is becoming more and more of a concern. ( I think we run into a frame/component compatibility issue daily b/c of all the various design innovations/changes these past 5 seasons...)
Chris Deck was brought on in early 2010 to help with the overflow of riders new and old out along Rt 52 and surrounding backroads needing mechanical assistance. He too grew up working along side of seasoned bicycle mechanics for the better part of 15 years and brought with him a vast knowledge base. Being an avid mountain biker for the better part of 18 years he has the ability to test the newer products from a fair amount of the manufactures we deal with on a daily basis yields lots of data for us to make a decision to endorse or to scratch this product from our stock. He is constantly getting recognized while here at Garrison's by area riders who remember him working on their bikes years ago!

Erick Markland is a very busy individual and we take what we can get w/ respect to available hours here at the store... Expert classification M.A.S.S. mountain bike racer, 8-10k miles a year road riding schedule/training, part time employee at an awesome ski/sun sports shop: The Ski Bum (Brinton Lake location), and to round things off: he is a full time employee/topographer for The Brandywine Conservency in Chadds Ford PA. Erick and I worked together for the better part of 5 years before this shop opened and I already knew what he would offer to the rider base who would be coming into the store.
